You are the Father of Corruption, APC chieftain pummels Buhari

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress Chieftain in Adamawa State, Mark Wosi says President Muhammadu Buhari is the father of corruption.

Wosi was responding to Buhari's inability to sack top authorities like the suspended Secretary to the Government of the Federation Babachir Lawal; Executive Secretary of the National Health Insurance Scheme, Prof. Usman Yusuf, and the suspended Director-General of the National Intelligence Agency, Ayo Oke.

Reports from boards of trustees set up to investigate the inclusion of the specified government authorities in the defilement cases have been submitted to the President.

Talking with Punch at the end of the week, Wosi said from all signs, Buhari was slowing down on the issues on the grounds that the men included were his supporters.

As indicated by him, "You can't continue revealing to us you are battling defilement while there are debasement affirmations against individuals around you but then you can't make a move.

"This only means you are the father of corruption. The trustworthiness of President Muhammadu Buhari is currently in question with all these misrepresentation cases under his nose."
