Two Fake SARS Operatives Recenlty Arrested In Rivers State

Two people parading themselves as officers of Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad (F-SARS), have been captured at Igwuruta, by Rivers police order.

Counterfeit Commander Kenneth Obunwa, and phony officer Oluwagbenga Abe will soon show up in court. Obunwa hails from Rivers State, while Abe hails from Ijero-Ekiti in Ekiti State.

The state Commander of SARS, Akin Fakorode, while parading suspects, said they were captured after the charge got a trouble call around 7 a.m. on Tuesday.

He stated: "F-SARS got a pain call that Obunwa and Abe, who guaranteed to be agents of F-SARS, addressed Pastor Finan and his more youthful sibling and subjected them to intensive inquiry in their compound at Igwuruta, with undisclosed whole of cash blackmailed from them.

The suspects imitated as agents of F-SARS and they have been doing it for some time. We immediately reacted to the pain call, in light of the fact that the individuals from the general population enough used the trouble lines that we gave.

We followed the impersonators and we captured them. We have a considerable measure of blackguards who are mimicking security specialists, particularly F-SARS, in this way annoying, threatening and blackmailing cash from guiltless individuals from the general population, who should be extremely cautious."
